Graduate Verification Service Graduation Verification Service Help You are here Home>Help Instructions for Searching the UTAS Graduation Verification Service The UTAS Graduation Verification Service allows the public to search for details about a graduate. This information is publicly available as it is published in the graduation ceremony programs (available in the UTAS Library) and is now available electronically for your convenience. If you aren't able to verify the qualifications/award of a graduate and require further assistance please email graduation@utas.edu.au Name Enter the Name here in the format First Name then Middle Names then Surname. Middle Names are optional. For example to search for a graduate with a name of Mark Jones, entering Mark Jones, mark jones or MARK JONES will all return the record as capitalisation does not effect the search. Award Title Enter the Award Title here. Award Title can be used to narrow the selection returned for a Surname and Given Name(s). For example to search for a graduare with a Bachelor of Arts degree, enter Arts. This will return all Awards with Arts in the award title (example: Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts). Capitalisation does not effect the search result, so entering Arts, arts or ARTS will return the same results. Conferred year Enter the Conferred year here. Conferred Year can be used to narrow the selection returned for a Surname, Given Name(s). This is the year in whih the Graduate has been conferred, NOT the year in which the Graduate has met the course requirements. Enter a 4 digit year, example: 2006
